At Solarn Manufacturing, we produce two products for lakes and ponds.
The first is a floating primary water filter for drawing water
from a lake or pond for commercial, farm or home use. A 1" thick
polyurethane filter element and intake at just
below the surface allows water of a higher quality to be obtained. Water
closer to the bottom tends to be darker and of a lower quality.
The second
is a wind powered aerator which provides bottom to top circulation It is
designed to bring water from near the lake bottom to the surface to allow
natural oxygenation to occur. Aeration can decrease algae blooms, prevent fish
kills and increase water quality.
